Freedom works by synchronizing your block lists between our service and whichever devices you add to your account and include on your block sessions.
To add a new device to your account, you need to install Freedom on the device and log into the app with your Freedom account email and password. See below for step-by-step instructions.

How to Add Devices
From your dashboard, click Add to the left of My Devices. This will open our downloads page, from which you can install our desktop and mobile software.
From the downloads page, you will install the Freedom application for your device.
Once Freedom is installed, make sure to log into the Freedom app with your Freedom account email and password. The device will now appear on your dashboard under My Devices.
Note: After adding a new device to your account, for blocks to take effect on the device you also need to edit your existing block sessions to include the new device, or create a new session that includes it.

For mobile devices, you can also go directly to the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and find Freedom there.
Note: your device will automatically be assigned a name based on the device type (e.g. Mac, iPhone, etc.) You can edit the name of the device by clicking on the device name under My Devices and clicking the pencil icon.
