How do I manage my Freedom subscription or cancel my account?
How you manage or cancel your Freedom subscription depends on where you subscribed—either through our website or via the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. For specific instructions, please visit Managing your Freedom subscription.
I don't see an option to cancel my subscription. Why?
If you don't see an option to cancel, it's because:
You are using the free tier version of the app.
Or, you purchased a lifetime Forever subscription.
If you're unsure, please contact support, and we'll help clarify your subscription status.
How do I upgrade my account to Premium?
Upgrading to Premium unlocks advanced features like scheduling block sessions, setting up daily recurring sessions, and more.
Upgrading via the Website
To upgrade through the website:

Choose the plan that best fits your needs.
When you upgrade via the website, we manage your subscription and can offer exclusive discounts and promotions that are unavailable through mobile platforms due to App Store restrictions.
Upgrading via the Mobile Apps
To upgrade through the mobile app:
Choose your desired subscription plan.
Google or Apple will process your payment through their respective platforms.
Once you upgrade via a mobile app, you will manage your subscription through Google or Apple. If you need assistance, we are happy to guide you in the right direction.
ℹ️ When you upgrade to our yearly plan, you'll enter into a 7-day free trial period. You'll have full access to Premium features during that time and your payment will be applied after 7 days.
How do you store my credit card information?
For website purchases, we use Chargebee, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment service. Chargebee securely handles all billing, and we never store your payment information. All transactions are encrypted via SSL for added security.

Can I pay another way than credit card?
Yes, depending on your device, we accept the following payment methods:
iOS Browsers: PayPal, Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay. Tap the "Payment Methods" button if the options aren't immediately visible.
Android Browsers: PayPal and Amazon Pay. Tap the "Payment Methods" button if necessary.
Desktop Browsers: PayPal and Amazon Pay. To use Amazon Pay, visit https://freedom.to/upgrade and scroll down to "Alternate Payment Options." Note: Apple Pay is not available on desktop browsers.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
With the exception of the Forever plan, all subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. If you'd prefer to disable auto-renew, you can manage your billing settings as follows:
Go to https://freedom.to/settings.
Click Manage Billing.
Click your current subscription plan to view options to cancel your subscription (canceling will ensure it doesn't renew at the end of the current term).

How can I get an invoice for my purchase?
An invoice will automatically be emailed to you once your purchase is complete.
If you need to modify your invoice (e.g., change the billing address), please Contact Freedom Support and follow the prompts to connect to an agent.
How can I view past invoices?
To view past invoices:
Go to https://freedom.to/settings.
Click Manage Billing.
Select Billing History.
How do I cancel my subscription?

I have an unpaid invoice and want to cancel my subscription immediately. How can I do this?
If your subscription is through our website and the renewal payment fails, your account will enter a grace period. We will continue to attempt payment during this period.
You have two options:
Wait for the grace period to end. The subscription will be automatically canceled after multiple failed payment attempts.
Contact Freedom Support and follow the prompts to connect to an agent. Our team can process an immediate cancellation for you.
My account status says 'Trial.' What does that mean, and will I be charged for a subscription?
If your account status shows 'Trial', it means you are using the free tier of the app and will not be charged.
If you are in a 7-day free trial for the yearly subscription plan, your account status will be listed as 'Premium'. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends.
