How do I manage or cancel my Freedom subscription?

How you manage or cancel your Freedom subscription depends on where you originally subscribed:

  • Freedom website

  • iOS App Store

  • Google Play Store

I don't see an option to cancel my subscription. Why?

If you do not see a cancelation option, your account is one of the following:

  • You are using the free tier.

  • You upgraded via a 30-day guest pass from a Premium user.

  • You purchased a lifetime Forever subscription.

If you’re unsure about your subscription type, please contact support.


How do I upgrade to Premium?

Premium unlocks features like scheduling block sessions and creating daily recurring sessions.

Upgrading via the Website

  1. Choose the plan you prefer.

Website purchases are managed by Freedom, and you may receive exclusive discounts unavailable on mobile platforms due to app store restrictions.

Upgrading via the Mobile Apps

  1. Choose your subscription plan in the app.

  2. Your payment will be processed by Apple or Google.

Once you upgrade through a mobile app, your subscription will be managed through that platform.

ℹ️ Note: Yearly plans include a 7-day free trial. Premium features are available immediately, and your payment will be processed after 7 days.


I canceled my subscription but changed my mind. How do I undo this?

You can reactivate your subscription in the same place where you originally purchased it:

  • Freedom website

  • iOS App Store

  • Google Play Store

How do you store my credit card information?

For website purchases, we use Chargebee, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment service. Chargebee securely handles all billing, and we never store your payment information. All transactions are encrypted via SSL for added security.

Can I pay without a credit card?

Yes. Available payment methods depend on your device:

  • iOS browsers: PayPal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay

  • Android browsers: PayPal, Amazon Pay

  • Desktop browsers: PayPal, Amazon Pay

    • For Amazon Pay, visit https://freedom.to/upgrade and scroll to “Alternate Payment Options”.

    • Apple Pay is not available on desktop.

If you don’t see these options at first, tap Payment Methods.


Which currency do you use?

  1. On the Freedom website, prices are shown in USD. If you’re outside the U.S., your bank or payment provider applies the exchange rate.

  2. In the App Store and Google Play Store, prices appear in your local currency, based on device and store settings.


Will my subscription auto-renew?

All subscriptions auto-renew unless you have the Forever plan.

To disable auto-renew:

  1. Click Manage Billing

  2. Select your subscription plan

  3. Choose the cancelation option (this prevents renewal at the end of your current term)

How can I get an invoice?

An invoice is emailed automatically after you complete a purchase.

If you need to modify your invoice (e.g., change the billing address), please Contact Freedom Support and ask to connect to an agent.


How can I view past invoices?

To view past invoices:

  1. Click Manage Billing.

  2. Select Billing History.


How do I cancel my subscription?

I have an unpaid invoice and want to cancel immediately. What can I do?

For website-managed subscriptions:

  • If a renewal payment fails, your account enters a grace period. We will retry the payment and email reminders.

You have two options:

  1. Wait for the grace period to end — the subscription will cancel automatically after multiple failed attempts.

  2. Request an immediate cancelation by contacting Freedom Support and selecting the option to connect to an agent.



My account status says 'Trial.' Will I be charged?

  • If your status is Trial, you are on the free tier and will not be charged.

  • If you are in a 7-day free trial for the yearly plan, your status will show Premium. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.



What account status will I see if I purchase the Forever subscription?

All Premium plans—including the lifetime Forever plan—display the same Premium account status on your Settings page.


How can I cancel my guest pass access?

A guest pass provides 30 days of Premium access, but it is not a subscription and has no payment information attached. It automatically ends after 30 days and reverts your account to the free tier.

You can then choose any Premium plan at https://freedom.to/upgrade.
