What to do if website blocking works, but app's aren't blocked.
What to do if both app and website blocking aren't working
I'm running a block session on Android, and it's blocking websites but not apps! What should I do?
The most common reason for this is simply that "Block Apps" hasn't been added as a blocklist in your session settings. This has to be added so that Freedom knows you want apps to be blocked in that particular session.
With "Block Apps" added, this is what your session settings should look like from the Android app:
And this is what it should look like from the browser dashboard:
If those settings are correct and it's still not working, make sure you have added apps to your blocklist. Freedom will only block apps that you've specifically added to the list. You can find your app blocklist under Blocklists on the Freedom Android app. It will look something like this:
To add to the list, tap Manage.
If both of the above are set up correctly and app blocking still doesn't work, there may be some battery optimization settings that are preventing Freedom from working properly. For more information on how to fix this, please see Android Battery Optimization Settings.

If you're running a session but nothing seems to be working at all, please see Freedom for Android Troubleshooting.
