Managing your Freedom subscription

This article provides information on ways to manage your Freedom subscription, payment options, and how to cancel your subscription.

The following support instructions are for freedom.to, the app and website blocker for Mac, Windows, Android, iOS, and Chrome. If you’re looking for another company named Freedom, please see the links below.

Auto-renewal, payment etc.

If you need to turn off auto renew or adjust the payment method for your billing account, you can do that from your profile page.

Cancelling your subscription

We're sorry to see you go! There are different ways of canceling your subscription, depending on how you subscribed:

Via our Website:

If you'd like to cancel your subscription, you can adjust that directly from your billing management page. To access that, please visit https://freedom.to/profile and click on "Manage Billing." You would then set your subscription to cancel.

Via iOS App Store:

If you have purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you will follow the same procedure, but the "Manage Billing" link will take you directly to Apple's site where you can manage your subscriptions. You can also follow this link directly.

Via Google Play:

If you have purchased your subscription through Google Play, you can manage your subscriptions directly within the Google Play app. This document outlines how to manage your Google Play subscriptions.

Changing your subscription type

If you want to change your subscription type, for example from Yearly to Forever, you can adjust this directly from your billing management page. To access that, please visit https://freedom.to/profile and click on "Manage Billing."

From there, click the button displaying your current subscription plan and price. Click "Edit Subscription." Click the green button towards the top of the screen to bring down the drop-down menu and select the plan you want. Enter any discount code you're using (if relevant) and then click "Update subscription."

Any changes will take effect only after the current subscription term has ended. If you'd like the change to be immediate, please contact us and we'll be happy to help with that.


FAQ

How do you store my credit card information?

For website purchases, we utilize Chargebee, an industry leading payment service, for our billing needs. We never see or store your confidential payment information. Furthermore, all transactions are secured via SSL. Chargebee is a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant provider, and you can read more about their security policies here.

Can I pay another way than credit card?

At this time, we can also accept payment via PayPal and Amazon through our normal checkout process.

Subscription Auto-Renewal

With the exception of our Forever plan, subscriptions are enabled to auto-renew. If you'd prefer to not auto-renew, you can adjust that directly from your billing management page. To access that, please visit https://freedom.to/profile and click on "Manage Billing."
