Supported Browsers for Website Exceptions and Non-Proxy Mode on Windows

When using non-proxy mode or website exceptions, Freedom only works in specific browsers. This article outlines browser compatibility.

The following are Freedom's supported browsers when using non-proxy mode or website exceptions on Windows:

  • Chrome

  • Internet Explorer

  • Edge

  • Firefox

  • Opera

  • Brave

  • Vivaldi

  • Whale

  • Torch

  • AVG

  • Xvast

  • Sidekick

If you are not using Non-Proxy or website exceptions mode, Freedom will work in all browsers.

If there is a browser that you would like added to this list, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or submit a Feature Request. We will always try to add support for your favorite browser if possible!

If you would like to prevent access to a browser that is not compatible, you can block that browser using Desktop App Blocking.
